DIMENSIONS: Overall length 35 1/4". Head dia. inside metal 11". OVERALL CONDITION:  Finish is good to good/good given age. Stencil on back Bay State and pearl dot inlays are very good.  No significant cracks in neck base or body drum base (steel over wood). I have included in the pictures that indicate flaws.  They are: Laminate ebony on left side of lower peg is cracked 5/8 toward the peg, I don't think you can see this from the pictures. Rosewood fret laminate age crack from top single dot inlay to lower single dot inlay along the b string.  The pictures show the peg string holder (near turning knob) for the 5th string.  It now is missing and If I find it I'll update. The 5th spring tuning knob is not original and there is a stress crack at insertion point. Outside steel is very good would clean up nicely. All steel drum nuts are original. None missing. The base string holder has been brazed but looks very good Left lower tuning peg is not original. Drum pot stretcher has been reversed.  Pot sick nicely marked.  Visible with mirror (tough reading): " BAY STATE       301     JOHN C. HAYNES & CO (ached over) BOSTON.".    Overall very clean looking, no to little warpage.  I have released the tension off the strings,   The banjo is as/is as/shown as described to the best of my ability.  NO RETURNS.
