Description
SquareTrade © AP6.0 Add Me to Your Favorite Sellers This is a 1962 Gibson Les Paul SG with the rare ebony block. It has a perfectly straight neck that feels amazing. We believe the frets to be original, but they have been dressed down pretty low. They still have enough life that they play great. Everything is original with only exception being the screw for the tremolo arm. This model has been seen with both the flat tremolo arm and this ivory tip tremolo arm. This vintage Les Paul is 100% complete including its original hardshell case. There has been a set of Grover keys on it at one time, but the originals are back on. The tuning peg holes were slightly widened, but not so wide to prevent the original bushings from fitting right into place without compensation. Fortunately, there are no extra screw holes from the Grovers. There are lots of nicks + dings, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear including a tiny crack going down from the heel which appears to be in the finish only. This guitar is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The back and sides show more of the true Cherry color than the front, but as you'll see in the pictures below, it still looks good. All electronics are original with a great sounding set of PAF pickups. All solder joints remain untouched and unbroken. Highest bidder pays highest bid + shipping. OK, the following is a big disclaimer that has been formed because of all those people who screw things up for everyone else. We appreciate the majority of you bidders who actually follow through with their bids (THANK YOU!!!). We require all winning bidders to contact us with 24 hours past the closing time of the auction to confirm their method of expected payment. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. I guarantee everything to be as I say it is, but may not know to mention everything it isn't. When sending payment please specify which item it is for as we have multiple auctions going at the same time. All Illinois residents please add 7.75% sales tax to the price of your high bid. It still costs the seller money when you back out of an auction, so please do not bid if you do not plan to honor your bid. We allow ten working days before leaving negative feedback and offering the item to the next highest bidder or choosing to use a collection agency as you will be entering a binding legal contract by bidding.
