Zildjian K Istanbul 15-1/8 inch medium Hi hats Vintage 1080 g/1111g medium weight for size Start Price USD 499.00 Current Price USD 771.00 Time Left - Bid Count 3 Buy It Now Price USD 900.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, September 06, 2008 End Time Thursday, September 11, 2008 Location Fremont, CA See more about 'Zildjian K Istanbul 15-1/8 inch medium Hi hats Vintage ' Description  Zildjian Istanbul K Medium hats.  These hats have the small holes, and are VERY hard to come by in this size.  15 and 1/8 inches, and 1080g/1111g respectively.  These beauties have the distinction of being very useable across many genres of music, not just jazz.  As you would expect, they have a dark (DARK) smokey wash, and a deep musical *chick* sound when played closed.   Condition-wise, excellent with nice holes, no waves, dents or cracks and almost totally smooth edges, with the exception of a miniscule flea bite that is super small, and I wasn't able to photograph.  I purchased these from the ORIGINAL owner as part of a set, and unfortunately, for the first few years, he had a thing with cleaning cymbals, which means, he cleaned the signatures off >.<, but that said, he hasn't cleaned them since the early 80s, and the tops in particular have developed a very nice patina.
