Description
What You'll Get This item is one ZGTR-315, which is a 15-foot Zaolla Artist Series mono guitar cable. The Artist Series cables include ClearConnect solder-free connectors designed and assembled by G&H. Unlike other eBay auctions for Zaolla, we actually have this cable in stock, ready to ship. About Zaolla Zaolla Cables are simply the best guitar cables you can buy. Period. There are, of course, lots of technical explanations of this, but those are just long-winded ways of saying that Zaollas rule all other guitar cables—and not just our venerated Kordex cables, but even the boutique, high-end cables produced by the big-name manufacturers. Zaolla is the cable that, when you loan it to a friend, you risk never getting it back. It's the cable that you don't leave on the front seat of your car, but if you do, you always double-check to make sure the car is locked before you walk away. This is the cable that you actually show off to other musicians instead of just shoving it in your gigbag. It really is that good. How is it possible for one cable to be so much better than every other cable? Well, it's simple physics: Whereas almost every other cable has a core of pulled copper wire, these cables are built with 99.99997% pure cast silver. Since silver is the most electrically conductive metal in the periodic chart, the result is a guitar cable with the highest possible signal fidelity. Of course, since silver is expensive, it also means that the cable costs quite a bit more than a generic cable. But considering what a lot of players will spend on instruments, pickups, and amplifiers to improve their tone, the extra cost of a Zaolla cable is rather modest. The tech specs on Zaolla cables are also impressive: Each cable features double (and sometimes triple) redundant shielding, as well as teflon layers to improve flexibility. And Zaolla's continuous casting process results in far fewer grain boundaries than standard pulled copper wire. As molten wire cools, the metal forms grains, and the gaps between these grains impede the flow of electrons, increasing resistance and decreasing signal. Whereas the average grain in a pulled copper wire is around 1/10 inch, the grains in Zaolla's cast silver average about 400 feet, a 48,000-fold improvement. Of course, all that is just the technical explanation of what your ears will tell you when you try your first Zaolla: The highs are more present, the bass end is extended (which is why bass players love these so much), and the tone is noticeably more accurate and transparent. When you first examine a Zaolla up close, you know it's built to last. Inside the jacks, even the solder points get their own shrink wrap. On the outside, the cable is sturdy enough to withstand abuse onstage, but, unlike some thicker high-end cables I've played, it's actually flexible enough to make it usable. To see why, check out Zaolla's diagram of their instrument cable: And here is the Zaolla mic cable: We have this cable in stock, ready for immediate shipment via USPS Priority Mail. About Shoreline Music Shoreline was the world's original online music store—we're even older than eBay, where you're reading this description. We ship 40,000 orders a year, and we've been doing this for 14 years, so we know how to get your order to you quickly with a minimum of hassle. Domestic Shipping Info Shipping date All our orders ship within 1 business day. Time in transit Our average delivery time for both First Class and Priority Mail is less than 3 business days after shipment (2.8 days as of June 2008). However, we recommend that you expect to wait about a week, just in case yours is that occasional package that takes a bit longer. Also, some of our heavier packages ship by Fedex Ground or UPS Ground, which can take up to a week. International Shipping Info Shipping and other fees Our standard shipping method for overseas orders is either USPS Express Mail International or USPS Priority Mail International. This costs around $20-$30 depending on the weight and size of the package. We don't use cheaper shipping methods because they are not trackable, and nowhere near as fast as Express and Priority. Please note that when you import goods from other countries, you will likely be responsible for import duties and taxes. These import duties and taxes are not included in the fee you pay us for shipping, so be prepared to pay them when your package arrives. Please note as well that it is illegal for us to misrepresent the nature or value of our shipments, so we will ignore any requests to mark your shipment as a "Gift". Time in transit Our average delivery time by Express Mail International is less than 6 days from the time of shipment (5.7 days as of June 2008). However, please keep in mind that your local customs office may delay delivery by up to one week. Special notice for Canadian customers Our standard method for shipments to Canada is First Class Mail International. We use this because it's nearly as inexpensive as shipping domestically, and it avoids the exorbitant brokerage fees charged by FedEx and UPS. However, First Class is not trackable, and Canadian Customs will sometimes hang onto these packages for—no exaggeration—an extra 2-4 weeks. We also ship to Canada by Priority Mail International (about 8 days) and Express Mail International (about 4 days), so please consider carefully before choosing the slower shipping. FAQ Is this product new? Yes. Everything we sell on eBay is new and unopened, and ships with the complete retail packaging. How do I order more than one of these? All of our regular auction-style listings only display one unit for sale. That's because it costs a lot to list more than one. But this does not, of course, mean that we don't have more in stock. We also maintain store-style listings in our eBay store. If you locate the same product there, you'll find many available for sale, with extra-unit shipping charges detailed in the shipping section at the bottom of the page. Do you combine shipping? Yes. Our extra-unit shipping charges are normally $1-$2 per item, depending on how much they add to the shipping total. However, eBay does not always calculate this properly. The easiest way to combine shipping is to use eBay's "Request total from seller" feature when you're completing your purchase. We'll send you the corrected total with the click of a button. (for quick instructions how to do this, click here) What is your return policy? You can read the details of our return policy on our regular website at shorelinemusic.com. Do you ship to my country? How much does it cost? We ship worldwide. Shipping charges are detailed in the shipping section at the bottom of every listing page.  _gsrx_vers_235 (GS 5.0.2 (235))
