York EEb Brass Sousaphone This item is a York EEb Brass Sousaphone Serial # 603515 ID # 1101 This Sousaphone is very nice and sounds good. It had major dents, and they have been removed by dent balls in the bell. So this has left a scared finish. This instrument has approximately 90 % + of the Original Body Finish. It has light wear over the entire horn (See Pictures) There are a couple of small dents (See Pictures) The Measurement of the Bell is: .......... 24 inches. All 3 Valves seem to work well and come back up quickly, and the Tuning Slides are nice and loose. The Engraving on this instrument reads: York Artist WE DO NOT have the equipment or the expertise to Measure the Bore size so please do not email us with these questions. We have play tested this instrument, and it seems to be in good used playing condition. Playing or not, this instrument has been sitting and not used for a while, so factor a little elbow grease to clean slides, oil valves etc. Or factor a trip to the repair shop for at least a light Service. Then depending on specific damage it may need more done to put this instrument back into top playing shape. Please bid accordingly. This instrument Does Not come with a case, or a mouthpiece Instruments are described to the best of our abilities. We do not have the expertise to always know if all parts are original.
