Yamaha has been making excellent orchestral trumpets for several years now, and this is a good example of their attention to detail and commitment to making a fine players horn. This is a large bore (.462 I think) C trumpet, suitable for orchestra work. The heavy wall (denoted by ht eH in the model number) keeps the sound from breaking up at high volumes and the gold brass bell (G) really warms up the sound. Condition-wise, this horn is very good. I don't see any dings to speak of. Original lacquer is excellent, nearly 100% remaining. Valves (see pic) show very little wear and are tight and fast. A great playing trumpet for a great price.
