None of our crew owns a Harley or an RV, and our building just had a fresh coat of paint. He said, "Why don't you let me loose on one of those shiny black pianos?" I suppose I raised my eyebrows and twisted my face a bit when I thought about it. He whips out a portfolio of all kinds of things he'd painted and, as he said, he could paint almost anything! Well, I asked him exactly what he thought he could paint on a piano. He said, "How about some of those little note things?" Well, that was how it happened. I pulled out a songbook so he could see what a treble clef sign and those little "note things" looked like and, next thing you know, out pops this amazing one-of-a-kind piano!
