Description If you are a piano/keyboard player you know what a Yamaha CP-80 is. This was the piano of choice for many (if not most) professional musicians throughout the 70's and 80's. There is no electric or portable piano in existence that will give you a more realistic, true piano sound than the CP-80. I have had this piano for many years and really hate to sell it but I need to. I have two kids in college and money is very tight. This is your chance to pickup a clean, rare vintage piano in great condition for a very reasonable price. This piano is in top condition for it's age and I doubt you will find a nicer one. This is a full 88-key piano and this one has all of it's original accessories included with it. It has the original power cord, sustain pedal, push rod, and chains. These accessories alone are often sold on eBay for $300-$400 or more. The keys all play perfectly (no sticking), the action is great and there is no damage to any of the keys or strings whatsoever. Please look at the pictures - there are 3 close-ups that show the excellent condition of the keys. None of the buttons or knobs are missing and none of the keys are broken or cracked. The vinyl on the outer case is in very good condition as well (please refer to the pictures). There are some minor dirty spots/stains on the vinyl case but no tears or rips or anything like that. They might come off with a thorough cleaning - I did not clean this piano for the pictures - I just wiped it off to get some pictures for this listing. I am the second owner of this piano and have had it for about 17 years now and it has NEVER left my house. The original owner that purchased it new (in the mid 80's) paid $5617.00 for it and toured with it for a short time. He is a good friend of mine whom I have stayed in contact with and I will be glad to give you his phone number and information for a reference on the piano if you want it. I also have a big, heavy-duty hard road case (on wheels) for the main piano part (the board/strings) that I will throw in with the deal. This is a $400-$500 road case. There was a smaller road case for the keyboard as well but it was stolen (with the lid to the keyboard still in it) from a nightclub before I bought the piano. If you chose to tour with this piano, the small hard road case should be around $250-$300 to replace if you elected to do so. I am located in Sherman, Texas (50-60 miles north of Dallas) and will be glad to show the piano to anyone who wants to come check it out or play it. I have no clue what shipping would be on this and am going to advertise this as local pickup only. I would be willing to deliver (or meet someone) within 150-200 miles or so for $100 to cover my gas. I would also be willing to ship but the buyer must make all shipping arrangements - I would not know where to start. Again, other than the keyboard lid, this piano is 100% complete and in perfect working order and ready to work or play + I am throwing in the big road case with the deal. I will consider reasonable offers but will not give this one away and I do reserve the right to end the auction early as I have had some locals inquire about it and may sell it locally should one of them decide to buy it.
