Besson stopped assembling instruments in England in 2005. Schreiber & Keilwerth has decided to resume production of world-class brass, this time with manufacture and assembly under one roof, using the name York, a renowned trademark from the past. York Brass uses many of the same components responsible for the Besson Sound but production methods have been improved and quality control is extremely high.
