It is the enhanced professional saxophone from Yanagisawa with a SOLID 95% PURE SILVER neck, body, bow and bell. That's a lot of silver!  Everything in the resonance column is Solid 95% Pure Silver (not plated). Solid silver resonates with a silky smooth, velvety sound compared to brass. The keys are brass for strength. This saxophone features lots of key work improvements over the T901... a fully ribbed body for excellent long term durability, gold-plated thumb hook and rest, double arm low C and B keys, improved, innovative low C#-B ramp. Great intonation and a beautiful sweet sound. The entire sax is polished and then wonderfully engraved which is unusually detailed and of a type not generally found today. This saxophone has the current Yanagisawa engraving style which covers the bell, bow, neck and the bell flare. A clear lacquer provides protection and a high gloss finish. The silver body offers a striking contrast to the golden brass key work. This is a remarkable tenor!
