Description
YAMAHA GC15'3" Classic Collection Grand Ebony Satinc. 2004S/N 6045392 This one-owner piano is a rare find. Originally purchased new from a Eugene, OR dealer in 2004, this piano was the dream of the owner's wife. Unfortunately she only played it a short time prior to getting sick and eventually passing on. Since new, the instrument has had regular tunings, been in a controlled environment and kept covered. The photos displayed were taken at the original owner's residence and will be updated once the piano is on display in our store (ETA 11/15/08). Until then we've done our best to show the like new condition of the piano. From the virtually unmarked pedals to the knick-free fallboard, aside from a little dust, this instrument looks and plays as new. For those prospective purchasers who may have encountered the Yamaha dealer "scare" tactic of warning you about "non-seasoned" pianos from Japan, we can assure you that this instrument was made for the North American U.S. market. This may be verified by going to: http://www.yamaha.com/pianoserials/index.asp and inserting the serial number provided. Due to the relative scarcity of newer used Yamaha grands, and based on their unparalleled reputation, they oftentimes sell prior to getting on the showroom floor. The price listed on eBay is a Pre-Inventory price. Once it hits our sale floor the price will go up due to adding sales commission. However, if you live near our showroom, please contact us and (if not previously sold) we will be glad to let you know when the piano is prepped and ready for audition. Contact Don Thumel at Piano Liquidators (541) 343-0107 or email toinfo@NWPianoGallery.com. You can also visit us on our website at www.NWPianoGallery.com. FINANCING Financing is available O.A.C. including 90-days Same-As-Cash. NO SALES TAX IN OREGON ! DELIVERY: We can arrange delivery anywhere in the Continental U.S. and oftentimes elsewhere. Average delivery is approximately $650 and we will keep costs as low as possible. We can best accomodate you if you send us your address and particulars for delivery. That is, what are the exact logistics of getting into your home (stairs, steps, gravel grass, hills, etc.). Please be SPECIFIC. What follows is what has been written about the instrument as well as the specifications from Yamaha Corporation: "By combining the scale and rich tonal quality of the Yamaha C Series with the cost advantages of the Yamaha G Series, the GC1 opens up new possibilities for entry-level music connoisseurs. It features a duplex scale and tone collector as well as the elegant music rack from the C1." "In the past, Yamaha has designed G Series pianos for home use, while the C Series pianos offered the tonal resources to meet the needs of the finest conservatories," says Paul Calvin, piano marketing manager, Piano Division, Yamaha Corporation of America. "The GC1 combines the tonal quality of the C1 scale with the cost savings traditionally found in the G Series pianos."
