FRENCH HORN Detachable Bell, Case, Thumb Valve' Description Up for auction is this beautiful and like new Single Bb French Horn with detachable screw on bell, which is the exact french horn in the auction pictures.  All of my instruments I have examined and serviced by a local professional music store where a certified technician, who is a member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians, examines and goes over the instruments.  The diagnosis was the French Horn is in outstanding playing condition, with an incredible sound.  He said that the valves move perfectly and the slides move freely.  There are no leaks.  The technician said he is not sure of the brand, but it is a very nice instrument and basically looks brand new.  There is a small ding on the inside of the bell and a small ding on one of the tubes, which maybe seen in the photos.  It is pretty much unnoticeable.   There is also a mark on the inside where it looks like a piece was on there or something.  I asked the technician and he said it may of been a stabilizer bar, but it looks fine and doesn't look like anything is missing except there is a spot there, which I show in one of the photos.  I do know that the person I bought this from bought it from an EBAY store last year for $475.  It was brand new and the store said it was a YAMAHA.  I don't believe it is a YAMAHA, but it still is a nice horn.  I am not a professional musician or grader, but this French Horn is in excellent to new condition.  The technician did play the instrument.  I have sold many instruments over the past few months so Please check out my feedback from the buyers.  The French Horn comes with its original hard case, which is shown in the photos.  Also the French Horn comes with a "mouthpiece."
