It is capable of punching rolls of any format up to 12 inches wide. It is controlled by a computer using Windows XP or 2000. It can be built for under 300.00 in materials depending on where you purchase the motors and such. Its basic construction is of 3/4 inch plywood. Other necessary items are readily available and are covered in the plan. There are 31 pages in the file with reference drawings and photos of the prototype. The instruction file is in Word format so if you cannot use this file type, let me know and I will convert it to a format suitable to your needs! All parts are shown with dimensions. If you have ever wanted to hear that special song on your Band Organ or Player Piano, this may be the only way you can do it! All the drawings were done in CAD and then brought in to the word  formats so you should not have any problem viewing them! You also will get jpeg and DXF copies of all the drawings. All necessary software to make the puncher run are downloadable free, locations are covered in the plan. Simply choose a MIDI file, do the necessary conversions and punch it! There are hundreds of MIDI files that you can download directly off the internet! If you do not have the tools to cut the wooden parts or metal turning, contact me about the kit I have available to build the puncher!
