She has played it over the years and it has a lovely tone. It is all wood. I do not know the types but it is a very dark and rich combination of difference woods. It is a 27 string harp. It has the rear sound holes for volume. It is 4 feet tall and 2 feet wide and again it is a true work of art as well as a wonderful sounding instrument. There is a small chip on the very back corner that is about 1 inch long but it is very hard to notice and does not have any effect on the tone. There are NO CRACKS OR SPLITS and any type of damage other than the small chip that I told you about. NO VIBRATIONS or any distortions in the sound.  We paid $800.00 for it 4 years ago and are selling it because of our financial situation being like so many others at this time. I have started the bidding at a low price and I very much hope that it finds a good home.
