Description
A New Category of Guitar Effects!TOGGLE by Molten VoltageJust Released This Week!Dynamic and Programmable Channel SwitchingAt the core, TOGGLE is a True Analog, True Bypass Channel Switching Pedal, but that is where the similarity between TOGGLE and every other channel switching pedal end.TOGGLE’s pure analog signal path allows you to re-imagine your vintage effects and take your digital effects in a whole new direction with its Patent Pending circuitry. TOGGLE is both a Programmable and Dynamic Channel Switching Pedal, meaning you can switch between two different effect chains by tapping in a tempo or by playing hard. Just in case you missed it, we will tell you again. You can switch between two different effect chains by tapping in a tempo or by playing hard. While each of these innovations represent a new branch in the guitar effect “family tree”, Molten Voltage has combined them both to create one of the most original and fascinating guitar effects in years.Four of TOGGLE’s seven modes allow you to program the speed at which TOGGLE switches between two separate effect chains by tapping in a tempo. What’s more, TOGGLE can swing! While traditional “tap tempo” controls set a steady rate of oscillation, in TapSwing! mode, users tap three times, after which the Channel A cycle matches the time between taps 1 and 2, and the Channel B cycle matches the time between taps 2 and 3. For a steady pulse, users simply tap twice.TapTwo, TapTriplet, and TapFour work just like TapSwing! except the corresponding cycles are half, one-third, and one-fourth as long as the corresponding time between taps, respectively. If you already have a tempo established and are in one of these three modes, pressing the Tap/Channel button once causes the tempo to be doubled, tripled, or quadrupled, as the case may be.Two of TOGGLE’s modes allow you to switch channels when you strum hard. With StrumTrigger, TOGGLE switches channels while you strum your guitar hard, then returns to the original channel when you play softly. Pressing the Tap/Channel button changes which channel is “primary”. The Gain control allows you to dial in the switching threshold for a wide range of input signal levels (e.g., single or double coil pickups). With StrumLatch, TOGGLE switches channels each time there is a distinct hard strum. For example, when you first strum your guitar hard, TOGGLE will switch and latch on Channel B until you play softly (or stop playing) then play hard again, at which time it will switch back to Channel A. During soft strumming or consistent loud playing, the channel stays latched. If you want to watch a short instructional video, search YouTube for "molten voltage toggle" and check it out. TOGGLE also includes an External Trigger input so the StrumTrigger and StrumLatch modes can be triggered using an external audio source, whether it is a keyboard, a different instrument, or even a microphone! The External Trigger overrides the Input signal for switching purposes but is isolated from the audio signal chain. The External Trigger level can be modulated using the Gain control, as it does not affect the audio signal path. Of course TOGGLE has an A/B Mode that allows manual switching between the two channels, as well as a true-bypass switch. If you are a traditional guitar player, you probably won't appreciate TOGGLE. But if you are the type who wants to explore the outer reaches of creativity and come up with sounds that have never been heard by humans, then TOGGLE is your ticket. Uses 6 AA batteries - rechargeable or alkaline. Can also use a 9-25V power adapter. Hand-built in the USA with only the highest quality components. Thoroughly tested prior to shipping. Bid now because we probably won't be listing any more on ebay due to the high fees. U.S. and Canadian bidders only! TOGGLE is warranted for a period of two years to be free from defects in parts or manufacturing. You MUST contact us before sending any item for repair. Email us at Service@MoltenVoltage.com for information on sending items for repair. PLEASE try fresh batteries first! If you attempt any repairs, all warranties are void. All sales are final.
