Description
For auction is an old handmade American 4/4 violin, 1953 Albert Klinth, in excellent condition with gorgeous flamed one piece back. It has no seam separations, no top cracks, no back cracks, nothing that I can find. There has been a professional repair to the neck (pictured) at some point in its 55 year old life which is very stable and solid. It has a carefully grafted scroll, and it isn't quite as orange as it appears in the photos, more of a butterscotch color. It is professionally set up with Helicore strings and a Wittner tailpiece, and is ready to play. The label (pictured) states "Albert W. Klinth, Maker; Grand Rapids, Michigan, #60; Cineri gloria sera est; 1953 (signature)". If the Buy It Now is used, a brazilwood bow will be included, and it will be shipped in an old case regardless of how it is won. Domestic shipping is $30 (including insurance), international bidders should email for a shipping quote before bidding. I accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and postal money orders. Please be aware that if paying with a money order other than USPS Postal Money Order, the violin will not be shipped for 5-7 days after I receive payment, until the money order has cleared.
