You are bidding on a very fine antique guitar lute, handmade in Germany. There is a brand stamp at the top, but no more readable. I think it was made in Markneukirchen around 1920. An excellent instrument in very good condition, wonderful sound, needs only one small repair, but is IMMEDIATELY PLAYABLE !! Most beautiful all solid wood, top finest spruce (wonderful aged), sides and back beautiful maple. The tuners work very well, nice head (never broken), rosewood fingerboard with 17 frets (good condition, show normal signs of use), 3 mother-of-pearl markers at the fretboard, beautiful original rosewood bridge and brige pins, decorated soundhole. The neck is totally straight and very good playable (action 12th fret is 3.5 to 4mm, perfect). Older good quality nylon strings, very deep and lovely, but also strong sound with great resonance. You should not use steel strings. This is one of the best guitar lutes I ever had. VERY GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION - This guitar lute was well played. Damages: one very thin hairline crack at the top, one small crack at the headstock (but tunable without problems), small damages to the varnish. IMMEDIATELY PLAYABLE WITH BEST SOUND !! See my pics! Hier eine sehr schöne und absolut hochwertige antike Gitarrenlaute in kleinerer Form, handgebaut in Deutschland, das Label auf der Decke ist leider nicht mehr lesbar, schätzungsweise aus Markneukirchen um 192ß. Für das Alter sehr guter Zustand und perfekt spielbar (absolut gerader Hals, die Mechanik läuft sehr gut, Palisandergriffbrett mit 17 Bundstäben, schöner originaler Palisandersteg, Saitenhöhe 12. Bund 3,5 bis 4mm). Feinste Hölzer (massive Fichte, wunderschön gealtert, und edles massives Ahorn). Dieses Instrument wurde sicher sehr oft und intensiv gespielt. Ältere Nylonsaiten, wunderbarer Klang, fein und edel, dennoch stark, mit großer Resonanz. Eine tolles Instrument für ältere Musik. Mensur 575mm, Gesamtlänge 900mm. Ein feiner Haarriss auf der Decke und ein Riss am Kopf, beides einfache Reparaturen. Einige Lackschäden. Dennoch SOFORT SPIELBAR !
