They embodied a high levels of craftsman ship for a reasonably priced mandolin.  This mandolin is all original and extremely clean.  It features a flamey, highly figured, mahogany front and back, maple sides and neck, a rosewood fret board which is in excellent condition as are the frets.  The four on a side open tuners are in excellent operating condition and the mandolin remains in tune for long periods of time.  The bridge is fully adjustable rosewood.  The pick guard shows no signs of decay or deterioration.  The face is blemish free with no warping or sinking at all.  There is minimal scratches on the back and very little wear anywhere on the instrument.  The neck is tight to the body and the action is fairly low, very easy to play.  The tone is resonant and the voice is beautiful.  This will be a very good mandolin for the money and will not disappoint.  Shipping detail:  5 lbs          19" x 19" x 25"                      USPS.com                        UPS.com Place a Bid!
