Going twice! Up on the block is a vintage snare drum stand. I am not quite sure of what I have here as there are no markings of a manufacturer or country to identify the maker or the date. I would say, and I am guessing here, it could be from the 1950's. It looks to be nickel plated and is in pretty good condition with your typical wear and light corrosion. There are no rubber feet or snare bumpers/guards. It is missing the wing nut that holds the extension in place. It is very well made which leads me to believe it is not Japanese. I guess the pictures will have to speak for themselves. If anyone has any insight as to who the manufacturer is I would appreciate it if you dropped me a line and shared your knowledge.
