Going twice! Up on the block is a vintage Slingerland Yellow Jacket #944 bass drum pedal dated around the late 70's to early 80's. This pedal is in decent shape with the usual wear and tear (scuffs and marks but nothing serious) for a pedal its' age. Still lots of spring left in it but could use a little bearing grease to get rid of the squeak. The beater looks to be original with the typical flat spot on one side and a little dirty. Everything looks to be original and complete with the exception of a broken hinge on the top of the pedal that someone had drilled a hole through and put a cotter pin in to hold it. It does the trick but to those purest out there please take note (see photo). Also I do believe there were originally two chrome caps that covered the bearing housings, they are missing. Also the wing nut that tightens the clamp to the bass drum hoop is missing. All in all a very solid original pedal with a little tlc it could be a great addition to that 70's Slingerland kit.  I have tried to describe these items the best I could and to point out their flaws the best I could.
