Wood rims and double reinforcement wood hoops inside upper and lower shell. Will need some light polishing on the drum, and this is also an aged wonder, so there will be signs of usage. On lower wood rim, seen on picture 4, has a 2." crack - only the bottom rim, and has no impact on the sound and performance.  ALL else is excellent as you can see. Comes with a soft case, and has an exceptional old day’s field drum sound. Other musicians who have purchased these drums from me have used them for a wide variety of musical interest - modern day studio work from Celtic, grunge, emo, heavy metal, prog rock to rock and roll and more.
