Oud is all original except for the bone nut, and has been completely restored by expert builder. This oud was commissioned from the builder in Syria and then came to the U.S. with the owner. The oud remained with the family until I recently had it refurbished. The selling price includes shipping and insurance, and is much lower than the appraised value that I received for an instrument of this lineage.
