This nice vintage Olds Super trombone sports a great looking silver tone ring around the beautiful bronze bell, with the original case and a nice old Frank Holton 30 mouthpiece included, as well as the original Olds music holder and attachment and a serial number which dates its manufacture to 1947-1948. The horn shows some signs of typical wear, with a few small dents, a little denting to the edge of the bell on one side, and some typical finish wear in some areas, but still makes a great overall impression. The slide feels great to this non-trombone player, and the chrome on the inside of the slide is very clean looking with no visible discoloration or oxidation spots. The case shows wear but is still in nice solid shape and has done a great job of protecting the horn all these years. Please see my photos below to have a look at this nice item.
