Description
I am proudly offering a gently used, and 100% original, Bach Stradivarius Professional silver trumpet serial number L 90245. Based on the serial number lookup (at http://www.bachloyalist.com/serials/serial_trumpet.htm) this trumpet was made between 1970-1974. This is the most popular Bach trumpet model due to its reputation for producing a sharp sound with excellent projection. This is a horn every trumpet player wishes they owned! UPDATE (09/05/08): I attempted to updload bigger photos but the pictures are cropped by eBay. If you would like to see larger resolution pictures please post a question containing an email address that can accept large attachments and I'll send the pictures to you. Bells (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/document?doc_id=99324) Fullness of sound and projection are the hallmarks of the Bach Stradivarius trumpets. The one-piece bell construction allows unrestricted vibration of the bell. Bells with fast tapers generate dark, warm tones, while slow tapers produce bright tones. Stradivarius trumpets are available in a number of different tapers, each with a unique tonal quality. 25: sharper and slightly tighter with more focused projection Condition: I would describe the condition of this trumpet as very good, and approaching excellent considering it's age and usage. I just had the trumpet professionally cleaned and prepared for sale. It is fully functional! There are some scratches in the tubing and a few places where the silver has been rubbed off, but it still looks sharp and plays crisply. The description above makes this item seem much worse than it is, but I have included every little slight imperfection so you know exactly what you are bidding on! To the winning bidder: I am charging $45 for shipping / insurance - I will ship either USPS (with delivery confirmation) or UPS via the fastest available method that can be obtained for this amount. If shipping is less than $45, I will gladly refund the difference. If it is more than $45, I will pay the difference. Please ensure payment is made within 3 days of the auction ending. I welcome PayPal! If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them. Good luck!
