Description
Ok. So here we go. I was approached by a private collector to list a few of his vintage pieces for him. What an honor. I have never played a guitar like this, nor like the other few I'll be listing as well. This one: a 1965 Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar. I'll give my best description. Also, notice the link at the bottom of the description. Very important. It's my flickr account and has over 50 pictures of this beauty in detail for the serious eye! Should minimize questions and all that. This guitar was "made" in: January of 1965. Serial number: L67122. Pots and everything are original. And payment must be available at auction's end. We'll ship worldwide. But for an accurate quote, please send your postal code and city in the message. Remember, it will be quite expensive as shipping with UPS for a $20,000 guitar will not be simple. I've never really dealt in vintage before, so if you have some POLITE advice to give me, I'm open to it. I do not think "I know it all". Overall, the guitar is like lightning. By far, the best Strat I've ever touched and played. And I thank my pal who owns it for letting me play it a few minutes before we took the pics. (I'll probably never touch one again!) Anyhow, the body has some marks on it, please check the pics at the link below for a better inspection. There is some fret wear, nothing too major, no buzzing, just some honest use. It has not been refretted either. The board is in nice shape. No major wear on the rosewood. The pickups are phenomenal. Their response blew me away. And after I heard this guitar, I fully understood the legend of the Strat better. It's goosebumps stuff. The bridge cover is here, as well as the original tremolo bar. Original hardshell case too. The headstock is in great shape, as well as the tuners. The guitar feels incredible. I've played a lot of guitars in my guitar filled life, but nothing like this. Despite the wear on the body, (and honestly does it matter if you're going to play it?), it's unbelievable. I look at Relics all the time. They should Relic this exact guitar.
