The octagonal bow is silver mounted and weighs 62.1 gram. The bow is made of a beautiful piece of pernambuco and has a very elegant head. It is a strong bow with superb playing qualities. The 3 stars indicate that his is the highest grade of the work of Dotschkail. The bow is in near mint condition. It seems that the former owner bought it new and put it away. The hair is original put on by Dotschkail himself. I am not sure when Dotschkail made this bow: he died in 1996. It should be rehaired in the near future. For the moment I have not rehaired it, but I will rehair it at th e buyers request at no extra. If you are not satisfied, you can return the bow for a refund minus shipping costs. Shipping is FREE.
