This was purchased from a young lady who just graduated high school this year. She said she got married and just does'nt need it anymore, so here's a chance to own one a whole lot cheaper than new. I don't play, but this one looks clean as a whistle and the cork keys are nice and shiny, no dullness. The corks look very good and fit snuggly together. The pads also look in very good shape. There is a brand new tube of cork grease from...West Music, and a brand new....Mitchell Lune Premium 2 1/2 reed in holder. Clarinet also comes in the original good tear free leather bond case that is clearly marked on gold name plate....Selmer, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. The Bell reads in gold lettering.....Soloist....then in a circle.....Signet....Selmer, U.S.A. The two key pipes are also marked the same. The shorter key pipe is numbered.....25503. I looked on the Selmer clarinet serial number site and from what it shows this is a Balanced action selmer clarinet made around...1937 to 1938.
