Description Hello! Up for auction today is a 60's era Slingerland 3 piece drum kit, factory-finished in Sparkling Silver. This kit appears to be 100% original, with no extra holes or modifications. These drums feature a center lug design, black and brass Niles badges, 3-ply shells with rings and tan interiors, and of course, that classic vintage tone! Color has mellowed some, but wraps are nearly flawless with minimal wear. Excellent chrome, clean and shiny with only minor wear. This kit includes: 14 x 20 Bass Drum, serial # 164376. Eight lugs, all T's and claws original and intact. Original batter and logo heads. Rail-style tom mount. Disappearing style spurs (missing rubber feet). Cymbal mount, arm not included. Hoops are nicked up, but front inlay is complete and intact. Rear hoop inlay is missing bottom half, and what remains needs to be reglued. 8 x 12 Tom, serial # 163499. Nice chrome, and the wrap is in excellent condition. Stick-Saver hoops, internal muffler. Heads appear to be original. 5 x 14 Snare Drum, serial # 162722. Six-lug design, Stick-Saver hoops, internal muffler. Throw-off works smoothly. Heads, snare wires, and cords all appear to be original. Also included is a vintage Slingerland flat base snare drum stand. Please ask questions before bidding, as all sales are final.
