Description   VINTAGE 1982 FENDER USA STRATOCASTER '62 RE-ISSUE!!!     “FIRST YEAR FULLERTON PRODUCTION”   “RARE & COLLECTABLE”   “NEXT BEST GUITAR TO A REAL ’62 STRAT” Up for auction is an extremely rare and highly collectable 1st year Fullerton production of a 1982 USA made Fender Stratocaster ’62 RI finished in traditional Sunburst with a Maple neck Rosewood fingerboard, Serial Number V003XXX. This fantastic guitar was the first year that Fender Fullerton made these guitars using the exact tooling as the original 1962 Stratocaster, and only producing 4-7 per day. The body shape on these guitars is deeper with longer body contour with the exact precision as the original guitars and where all hand made. This guitar is all original, Pots, Pick Ups, Body all dating 1982, and included is the Tweed Fender case showing wear on the exterior but the interior is very clean. This guitar is in Excellent Condition, the body has aged beautifully with an authentic relic look in all the right places adding character to this 26 year old body. The neck is straight, smooth and clean; frets are excellent with plenty of life left. The sound is awesome, with plenty of substance and the tonal quality is FANTASIC!!! Better than any Custom Shop Strat you will find on the market place. NO ISSUES, EXCUSES or STRORIES, just a fantastic guitar.
