The serial # is L769XX.  This guitar came out from under the bed of the original female owner, after over 40 years in hibernation. It is original and "untinkered" with. It has a June '65 neck date & June '65 pickup markings, the original 3 way switch and pots (all with no breaks in the soldering). It is the last of the original small headstocks with a transition LOGO. The neck is straight. It has a rosewood fretboard and original frets in excellent condition.  Best of all is the beautiful "Candy Apple" red paint, which is very clean, with only 5 or so very small nicks in the finish. This is a museum quality guitar that is probably a better investment than the stock market. They don't hardly get any better than this.  I feel so strongly about this guitar, that I will personally, hand deliver it to the buyer within the continental United States.
