Description
Professional level Tuba Yamaha F Tuba YFB-822 Silver Plated, 4 pistons + 1 rotary valve. Comes with factory hard case and Yamaha mouthpiece 67B4. Although it is labeled as USED the horn is in new condition. There are no dents or dings anywhere. The case is also in very new condition. This instrument is a great all-around horn...wonderful for solo, chamber ensemble & large ensemble playing. It is every bit as good as the pro's say it is! I am selling it so I can downsize to a 3/4 size Yamaha. Yes...I bit off more than I could chew! (I'm near 40 and all of 5'4" tall with a few health issues sneaking in the back door. Meeting the demands of an hour long solo recital are starting to feel like a Triathalon. I purchased this tuba new for approximately $9500. This particular instrument is in great demand in the "tuba world" with up to a 3 - 6 month+ wait if the factory doesn't have any in stock. The wait for this one would be far less.
