Guitar has never been registered so the new owner can do so. The serial # for this guitar is 20040519133. ONLY 14 of these guitars were made! It is in extraordinary condition. There is one very small and shallow indentation in the wood on the back but that has been there since the factory because it is under the clear coat. It’s something you can only see by scrutinizing the guitar closely, and I mention it just to be totally upfront—it is very hard to see (about the size of a fingernail and very shallow).  I’ve tried to capture it in a photo and can’t do so.  I have listed it as new although it has been played maybe 10 times (finger picked, no flatpicking)...it’s listed as new because there isn’t a scratch on it (other than the factory indent mentioned above).  The inlay work on this guitar is amazing: it’s comprised of ebony, rock maple, mother-of-pearl, and abalone. The tuning pegs are ebony. This guitar has ALWAYS been kept it in it's case.  (Deluxe Taylor Case included). This guitar is stunningly beautiful and plays as beautifully as it looks.  The action is perfect and the tones are mellow and mystical.  The sound from this guitar is absolutely amazing!  I also have a Gibson J-200 and, much as I love it, there is no comparison at all.  The Taylor is just extraordinary.  The Koa wood is only found on the Hawaiian Islands and has become very rare.  It’s unusual to find a guitar of this quality all in koa.  The original registration papers come with this guitar—I never sent them to Taylor, so whoever buys this guitar will also get the registration papers.  The opening bid is $400 below what I paid for this guitar.  About the Expression System:  The Expression System means pure, high-fidelity acoustic amplification for a natural live sound.  The balanced, low-impedance signal the Expression System produces can run direct into a mixer or PA in most situations, and is free of distortion at almost any volume.
