Description Hi everyone--   Here's the story:  I had high hopes and dreams of becoming a better saxophone/woodwind player, all while still being a drummer.  I have played woodwinds since I was 12 years old, and drums since 15.  I had ambitions of being an addition to a jazz/funk band but it fell thru, and I really don't play sax as much as I thought I would, so therefore I am putting my horns up for sale!  Let me first say and be very clear, there is NOTHING wrong with EITHER of these horns, other than smudges from fingers on the keys and a few small surficial scratches on the Baritone!  They are intermediate-level playing, I would say much better than the student-level saxes I learned on in school.  The Tenor is a VENUS model and the Baritone is an ACCENT model (both made in USA from a small instrument company in the Minneapolis, MN area that I believe may have been bought out and now manufacture parts for a larger instrument-maker, un-sure of that tho!)   TENOR: Key of Bb, 'Rose Brass-colored' (like shiny copper) with polished silver-coated keys.  This horn plays great in all registers, I played it all last fall and winter with MUCH success both in the studio and with a few small jazz groups.  Includes padded neckstrap, a box of Rico Royal reeds, 2 1/2 strength.   comes with 2 mouthpieces, one originally on the horn with a silver ligature AND a Yamaha 5c mouthpiece with gold ligature.  the 5c gives this horn a VERY bright and wonderful sound, you'd have to try it yourself to believe it!   BARITONE: Key of Eb with low A key.  This big baby I would rather not part with, but like I said I believe that both of these horns should go to a better user, as they have collected dust in my basement for quite sometime.  THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO DINGS in this horn ANYWHERE!!!! which is rare on any bari sax which someone has used, such a big instrument usually falls victim to some sort of ding/dent in its life!  THERE ARE some surficial scratches from the previous owner, near the neckstrap loop area.  I personally paid over $2200 for this saxophone 2 years ago and have babied it ever since!  This horn also comes with a Yamaha 5c mouthpiece, and gaves it a VERY big and bright sound, it also plays very well both high and low notes!  Inclueded as well are a box of Rico Royal Baritone Sax reeds,  2 1/2 strength; and a Neotech saxophone harness included with it as well, it's a big help when playing this horn as it is quite heavy! The cases:  Both road-gig worthy, Hard ABS plastic, the baritone case has wheels and an extra handle to drag it as well!
