It is made of wonderful lacquered pearwood, has english/baroque fingering with double holes for f/fis and g/gis and is  ca. 47 cm long. The recorder has a soft chorous tone and is suitable for playing in a group.  Fehr is known in europe to build instruments in extrem high quality. Along with Küng from Switzerland and Moeck and Mollenhauer fom Germany Fehr is one of the best Recorder craftsmen of the world. For almost 50 years H.C. Fehr recorder makers have been manufacturing quality instruments. The recorder in   excellent condition , the labium, the thumbhole and the corks are in exellent condition too.  The pieces fit together beautifully.Only the mouthpiece and  the thumbhole show slightest signs of wear .No other signs of wear, no scratches, dentmarks or flaws. The recorder is cleaned, disinfected  and inside oiled with almond oil.The sound is clear and soft  and mellow, as good as one expected from Fehr.The high and dark tones are easy to play.
