Description
Solid State Logic Fx 6384- you’ve never heard anything like it! If you are looking for that compressor that you are always hearing about...you know, the one that makes anything sound phenominal. Here it is! Insert it on anything and you’ll know immediatelly why it is legendary. What it does to guitars is unfair. They crunch like you've never heard. This is also one of the very few compressors i've heard, that does to keys what you want done, in tracking or mixdown. Vocals are too easy with this unit. You can be bad at setting a compressor and you still can't miss. Rock vocals have an edge that make them jump right out of the mix. Where it really stands out though, is across the stereo buss. This thing makes anything sound good. You don’t even need indv. track compression. Just strap it across the main insert, and the track becomes like smooth, hard glass. Any style of music. It’s unstoppable! Don’t forget the auto fade, a trait few compressors have. It’s a must have when your fading on your final mix. These are extremely hard to find. I’m only letting it go because I am liquidating my entire studio. I’m stepping away from the music business after 20 years. This machine is worth 10 times what you will pay for it. The first time you patch it in, you’ll know what I mean. Tip: for stereo buss compression- Use 4:1 ratio with attack set at slowest and release at it quickest. Only 3 to 4 db of gain reduction. This is a classic setting, so I have it marked for you on the unit. Have fun!
