This could be moved to the front. It is balanced 600 ohm transformered in and out on channel one as well as 10K hi Z input . There is also a on off switch for the compressor to use the unit as a preamp. There is also a switch on the back to use the unit as a noise gate. There is a second input that is unbalanced.  This input can be balanced with a 3A30 plugin transformer or a 2A90 microphone preamplifier. There is a output control and a large meter on the front.
