The shells are in great shape with no extra holes in them. The insides have never been painted and are in fantastic shape. You can see the odd reinforcing ring through the middle of the bass drum in one of the pictures. You will need to replace a couple of the rubber feet.The covering has aged to a cool semi-translucent yellowed pearl, and is in good overall shape. The floor tom has come cracked covering on the backside that the previous owner fixed rather hastily with clear packaging tape and some chrome tape. I have not removed the repairs as to not exasperate the situation - you can do what you want. The chrome is good with some minor pitting from age. The hoops are heavy StickSaver style. While the hardware is not the ultra heavy duty style favored by some, it is certainly stable and very workable. The bass drum hoops show some signs of usual wear, but do not have any heavy gouging.The drums have heads on them, but they need replacing. Winning bidder may request that the heads be removed & discarded prior to shipping.** I will not part out any of my drums.
