Description
A rare, vintage Selmer tenor from the very pinnacle of Selmer's legendary SBA model production. This particular survivor has nice original finish. I guarantee 100% no question that this tenor has the original lacquer, and looking at the pics you can see what the truth of orig lacquer really is, not so shiny and bright, but a vintage textured patina and very clear engraving. With this sax, the pads, resonators and case are not original. The case is brand new and comes from a Taiwanese sax that I recently purchased, a very nice case! It is black, and you can see it in the Picasaweb photo album. The horn is in fine condition with some modest dings, but the body tube is very straight and there is no major damage anywhere on this sax. The original neck is PERFECT, with matching serial #, no bending down or dents, dings or solders. All together this is a spectacular saxophone! It plays with that nice, almost "woody" textured sound that these horns are known for and is lots of fun to play. Please see plenty of very high res pics at ------------------------> -------------------------http://picasaweb.google.com/LateNiteSax/SBATenor47xxx# ---------------------------------------------------------------> I am a regular Ebay buyer/seller with a fine reputation for accuracy and honesty so bid with total confidence!! I go the extra mile to make sure my customers are satisfied with their purchases. If you are in the NYC area and want to view the sax please contact me. Payment is in USD by official bank cheque only. The sax will be shipped UPS, S&H will be 60.00 plus FULL insurance. I will ship this sax anywhere in the world for additional costs, but I will not lie on customs forms with regards to the value of the sax. Thank you, and please ask questions. Good luck!
