Serial Number: 103933. This is a RARE ORIGINAL SILVER PLATE MARK VI, which I believe was produced for the European market, as it has no American-standard Elkhart engraving and no serial number stamped on the neck. I am a professional saxophonist, and this was my main horn for about a year, and has been my backup tenor for about 7 years. Mechanically, the horn is great, with even, tight action, and little or no play in the rods. It's in perfect playing condition, with no repairs needed. While it's been in my possession, it's had only minor, routine repairs, such as replacing pads (which are all in excellent condition). The plating is somewhat worn on the bell, the top of the bow, the thumb hook, and a few keys, but is otherwise intact. The neck-tightening screw and alternate F# key guard are not original, but are fully functional. The neck shows signs of repair, but you wouldn't notice any ill effect from this in a blind playing test, as the horn plays very well in tune, and with a great tone. I'll ship it in the Selmer box case it came in (probably more modern, like from a Super Action 80, and not the original case). Or, for an extra $50, I'll ship it in the Selmer flight case I've used for the horn (all original except for leather replacement handle attached with buckles).
