You know all about these, I'm sure. This one is terrific. Serial number is 56,xxx (full # should be visible in the pics) and is one of the first Mark VIs ever made. Lacquer is all gone, but the engraving is deep and sharp (probably recut) and gorgeous. This horn has never been buffed.There is no sign of any damage to this horn that I can see, though the neck has had a pickup expertly repaired. The serial # matches body and neck. Pads are terrific and this horn plays GREAT as is. This was the main gigging horn for a local pro and is one of the best playing VIs I've ever had. Pics tell the rest of the story!
