You know all about these, I'm sure. This one is excellent. Serial number is 70605 (see pics) and is from the vintage that many people say is the absolute best. Original lacquer is about 90% present, with some wear consistent with play (see pics). There is no sign of any prior damage to this horn save a very smallish flattening in the bow. Lacquer is original and looks great, with a deep honey color. There is no serial number on the neck but the lacquer matches perfectly, so if it is not original it is likely a new neck that was purchased at the same time as the horn.
