Description
First things first, I'm a private seller, and I've owned this instrument for 22 years. I bought this Mark VI from my high school band director; he bought the horn new. I graduated high school in 1965. I bought the horn in 1986. This horn is my pride and joy, and I know I can't replace it. At 62 yrs. of age I'm have some medical problems that's  running into the thousands. My intentions were to keep this horn, and hand it down to a family member, but due to my present circumstances I can't do that. The only work that's been done to the horn are the pads. The horn is vintage 1965 serial # 125xxx. The horn has it's original lacquer and is worn in the usual places, it has three pencil point dings on the horn and a tiny one on the neck. I've tried to show this in the pictures. The neck is the original neck with matching serial #.Since I dont play much, the horn been sitting in the closet. I just had my tech check it out for leaks. It's ready to play, and what a monster it is. I've had several people comment on what an exceptional horn it is. The last person that played it was Troy Jennings, professional Tenor, and Bari west coast musician. His last recording was with Ike Turner's grammy nominated CD. His advice to me was don't ever sell it... Please feel free to contact me for more information or questions you might have. If your checking out Mark VI's you know about how desirable this vintage horn is, I know what I have, and if your the lucky bidder you will not be dissapointed. I'm really sick about having to sell it. Once it leaves this house the sale is final!!!! It's hard to tell the color of the horn, but the lacquer has a honey gold patina. It's aged beautifully! I'm listing one more time, I know what I have. Buy it now price includes packaging, freight, and insurance. This is it folks, don't let this go buy!!!
