Description This is a VERY NICE Selmer Balanced Action alto saxophone. Selmer single-handedly redrew the saxophone map with the introduction of the Balanced Action. Radically different design led to superior ergonomics and full, dark tone that had players flocking to them and left other manufactueres scrambling to catch up. This is a nice example of a Balanced Action sax. This horn is gold plated, and while the gold is not original, it looks pretty nice. This horn was once owned by the great Denis Brault, and his name is engraved in the bell. Body is good and straight, and there are a few minor dings but nothing major.
