This instrument was made eight years ago in Scott's Campbell Workshop in San Jose, CA. http://www.scottcaoviolins.com/ This instrument was lightly played for a short time period by a middle school student.  It has been stored since then. A local violin shop has done minor clean-up work on the violin & a bow re-hair since it has last been played. It is in perfect condition. When originally purchased the retail price was $3000 for the instrument and $300 for the bow.  It comes in a hard case with plush, red interior and silk blanket which was additional cost.  The matching pernambuco bow is the Scott Cao model STB-600. New Dominant strings are included.
