Description
This is an outstanding Selmer Mark VI tenor. It is in beautiful, ORIGINAL condition with most all of the lacquer intact. There are a few minor scratches but this horn was not played much in its lifetime. There are matching serial numbers on the back of the body (see photo) and the same number on the neck. I played this horn last night in my saxophone quartet rehearsal and it is in excellent playing condition besides looking great. Anyone who plays the saxophone quartet repetoire knows how demanding it is and how only a saxophone in top playing condition can get the job done. This sax clearly passed the test. There are no dents, dings or solder marks. The case seems to be the original. There are a couple of paper stick-ons on the case that I think can be removed if the right person knows how to do it. The case is brown leather with three latches that work perfectly.Domestic shipping will be $65 UPS which includes professional packaging and full insurance. International bidders will pay between $110 and $200 depending on destination. There are a lot of complaints about bidders with no feedback on eBay coming out of nowhere to bid on an expensive item If you have fewer than five positive feedbacks you mush email me in advance with your full name and country of destination. If you don't, I will remove your bid. Sorry, but serious bidders should not feel that someone is simply jacking up the price to the disadvantage of those serious bidders.
