Excellent for Controlling Muli Amps on Stage and Switching Guitars Quickly. It also has XLR out with controls to Console or Recording I purchased it and rebuilt the Power Supply Only, with identical factory parts.... The Neve Rack Unit is 100% Original, no repairs, and in Perfect Condition. The unit and power supply work as New..... Both are in Perfect Condition On the back of the unit which I have photographed if you can see is the units Model Number which is GS1004/1.2 Below that is the serial number and Rupert Neve Co. Ltd. Cambridge, England, and on the left side is a Rupert NEVE Logo. GS means Guitar Splitter, 1004 means 4 th unit made, 1.2 means 1.2v power input. On the Front you can see the Neve Logo once again, just to the left of GS1004. On the power supply you can see, Power supply for NEVE. This is NOT the modern day Neve gear that is mass produced. This is a Vintage Piece of Neve Gear handmade by Rupert Neve & Co. Cambridge England. On the back we have, Left Trim, Power Supply Input,Right Trim, Balanced Out, and Level, for the Balanced Out. On the Front of the Unit we have Vintage Audio Works... who designed and built the cases for the rack unit and the power supply. Just below that we have a Metal Plate with Neve's Logo and GS1004. We have Two Inputs... Each of these Inputs goes to two of the Outputs There is channel One, Two, Three, and Four There is a Gain button for each......... The Gain is precise they are meant to Fine Tune and to balance the 4 Outputs The green button on each of the four channels is an On/Off switch The Red Button Mutes the Back Output to the Console or Recorders.
