This horn is awesome! Meinl makes arguably the best tubas in the world (only Alexander comes close in my opinion) and this is a terrific example of their best work. First of all, its sounds great. It has a tone that's ideal for orchestra, brass ensemble, or quintet settings. The tubist with one of the nation's finest orchestras played one of these for over 20 years. Intonation is excellent, and the valves are nice and fast. Just what you'd expect from an extraordinary German tuba. This horn is in terrific cosmetic and playing condition.
