This echo has also balanced XLR ins and outs for an unimpeachable performance. This echo and I want to emphasize this echo has no back ground internal or annoying tape noise even just using the regular telephone jack straight in from guitar. It speaks for it self why this professional series is different from the regular RE 100 and 201 series. It is totally quiet. What goes in, comes out the same way with added effects only. It has of course, reverb and chorus and Sound on Sound. It works perfect and the heads are like new so it have not been used very much. I took the sliding unit off to save space and added a couple of feet in the back USING SCREWS AND SCREW HOLES  ALREADY THERE  FROM THE FACTORY for it to be level.on surface because I did not need it rack mount it at home where is the only place I have used it.
