Description
1967 Fender Telecaster Blond Bombshell Original Fender Hard Case This is a vintage 1967 Fender Telecaster in the classic Blond finish. This Fender is the best sounding Telecaster I have ever heard or played. It sings whether plugged in or not. It is obviously well played and for a good reason - IT HAS "THE SOUND"! That vintage Tele sound everyone who loves Tele's is looking for. Also has lots of MOJO. This guitar was obtained from the second owner who owned it for over 35 years. Please check out all of the photos before bidding. The alder wood body with clear nitro finish has several dents and dings, spots and wear to the blonde finish (the finish appears almost white under the pickguard) which only adds to the overall appeal of this fine guitar. The tuners are F Fender Tuners. The neck has a stamp date of 3SEPT67B. The neck cavity has some info and numbers on it as well. The serial number on the neck plate is 207524. The switch has a number CRL 1452. The stack pole pots have several numbers 032367 250K AUD 304-6617. The bridge plate has Fender Pat No stamped on it. I could not find a date on the neck pick up but my luthier said the wiring looking original running from it. The bridge pickup has a date of 11-6-67. It has a rare maple capped neck. The finish on the back of the neck has worn off and the maple fret board shows signs of wear. The neck is smooth and free of any dents or dings. The fret board itself has no grooves in it but there is a little on a few of the frets. This guitar has been well played over the past 41 years but she still has a lot more miles to go. It also comes with bridge cover (ashtray) and Fender black hardshell case with nice red orange lining (case has one front latch piece missing). This is a rare and vintage 1967 Fender Telecaster and case with great mojo and appeal to the player or collector. I am no expert on guitar originality or parts so you will have to ask questions or determine from the photos. I can send more photos on request. Both guitar and case are in very good condition with the expected wear for a 41 year old guitar that has been played. I have checked values and watched what people are asking for later year models and feel this is a fair price for a fine vintage Tele. This is a great opportunity to buy a fine playing, great sounding and awesome looking vintage guitar. USE BUY IT NOW or BID TO WIN! PLEASE ask all questions before bidding.
