Description
This is a very beautiful and very rare old mic from Brush Development Corp, the originator and patent holder of all early crystal mics. Back in the old days there were very few plastic or Bakelite mics made. The problem was that they would eventually be dropped and destroyed. The Turner Color Mics are the rarest of all. They are the holy grail and are impossible to find. But check out the coolness factor of this very scarce old mic. It’s made from a beautiful bright burgundy plastic that looks similar to Catalin, but is not Catalin. You won’t find these very often. I’ve only seen a few. This one is still in the original box. And though the box is worn, the mic is excellent. This one has never been dropped. There are no cracks, chips, or any other damage. The biggest surprise of all is that it’s original crystal element still works fine with good output. It can be mounted directly to a stand for an Omni-directional pattern, or used with the included swivel mount to make it directional. It can also be used hand held and just might make a good harp mic, but don’t drop it. OUCH! Please use the calculator for exact shipping charges worldwide. Be sure to check out all shipping options for the best deal. Insurance is optional and highly recommended. Insurance is not available using international first class. Overseas bidders must choose Priority or express to purchase insurance. I am always happy to combine shipping for multiple items whenever possible. Feel free to use Ebay checkout.
